Espresso Balsamic Poached Pears
Ingredients:
- 2-3 firm pears, cored and halved
- 1/2 cup Di Oliva Espresso Dark Balsamic
- 1 cup red wine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Mascarpone or Vanilla ice cream for serving
Directions:
Simmer pears in balsamic, wine, sugar & cinnamon until tender (about 20 minutes). Serve warm w/mascarpone or ice cream topping with poaching liquid.
